A legend.

superb man and sadly missed

@MJC1124 I hope the stories on the net about Freeman hosting child abuse parties at his flat with young boys from children's homes in the company of the rich, powerful and 'untouchable' like high ranking police officers protected by Freemasons, MPs, gangland figures like Ron Kray and also Jimmy Savile are not true, but it makes one think, like 'no smoke without fire' etc

thanx to
Alan "Fluff" Freeman
one of a very special kind
DJ extraordinaire!!!!! Not 'alf!
No-one did it better, and they never will !
Alan was a one off, a real talent, and a lovely genuine human. I was lucky to live my youth in the 70s and have him in my life every week, with POTPs, the rock show, and for an all too short year, his daily afternoon radio one show, and how good it was to listen to him. We still love you Alan. The radio is not the same without you. Hope I get to heaven so I can meet you !

I was lucky enough to be in the studio at Broadcasting House to see Pick of the Pops go out three times during the late 1960s and early 1970s. I was only a fan who wrote to Alan and asked if I could sit in on a session. He was a great guy and a wonderful DJ.
