Kaizers Orchestra performing their new, yet unreleased song, "Femtakt filosofi" live at the Eurosonic Festival in Groningen, Holland on the 15th of january 2010. This recording concludes the "monday bootleg tricolor" and is made and uploaded by the band itself to give the fans a heads up to what's coming from the Kaizer camp next. The full album is expected early 2011. This is a simple one-camera, one-mic recording so excuse the low budget diy quality, but we reckon it's better than the mobile phone one's that are allready out there, and interesting for those of you who are into the Kaizer thing :) Allright, enjoy!

  • Okay this probably will be a very unpopular comment but I hope that some people will give it a thought anyway...

Now I wouldn't dare saying that this one, or any of the new songs are 'bad' but I'd say that they're not as ..well, 'catchy' as the old ones, and i miss that a bit :(

Me personally i LOVED (and still do) any song of the first three albums. That dark and up-tempo gipsy/ompa sound, it was so great. Like 'Resistansen', 'Katastrofen' or 'Sigoynerblod' I wished it'd be back a bit more..

  • And since a single comment on Youtube is too short, i'll give it another go and explain a bit further:

When you listened to the old tunes, you felt like they were telling a story. Now I don't speak a word of norwegian but that somehow never got me in the way. The old tunes just got you and.. I don't know how to explain.

I also miss a lot of the old 'style' in instruments. A lot of the oil barrels is gone, the empty bottles and don't know what.

*sigh* I can't explain really, maybe it just me..

  • @thomascroy Not just you, man

  • I'm not an old fan, I've only heard Kaizers for half a year, yet I also think that, although the new stuff is good, it's just not the Kaizers I fell in love with. If I heard this song rather than Bak et Hallelujah when I first discovered them, then maybe I wouldn't have fallen for them. I guess it's just nostalgia for the gypsy rock.

  • i just love the new album, its my fav. and yes i im not and old fan, so that have maybe something to do with it

  • theyre music has changed, from Mafia inspired music to more pop stylish music, not that the new ar bad, i enjoy them but i miss the trashy old dark rock kaizer, but this is still a good song.

  • @thomascroy The funny thing is that all the songs on the new album tell a story.. x)

  • like their new univers, and the story in the new Triology.. Great album !

  • not catchy? most catchy on the album imo

  • I think this is one of the best songs in the album! Amazig what Janove have done this time. Everybody is talking of the "old" Kaizers, but what are you talking about? Is it everything before this one, or the really old from 2001? I think they have showed big steps musicaly and vocaly. The songs are not like Sigøynerblod and simular songs, but do you realy want that? If they suddenly have started making new gypsy music it would be boring because they are so much better than that. Love this song!

  • @thomascroy

Every Album is a story, and is told in the songs. so the songs are actually telling a story.

  • hvis ikke dette er skrangleorkester, så vet ikke jeg! fyfader som jeg gleder meg til albumet kommer!
