From the series "Chasing Mummies" on the History Channel. Dr. Zahi Hawass and fellow archaeologist David Cheetham explore a little-known chamber underneath the Great Sphinx, the entrance of which happens to be at the rear end of the monument. Unfortunately for "pyramidiots", no lost treasure or alien bodies were found there.
Oh well, they have yet to explore the huge ancient city underneath the Great Pyramid built by aliens ...
As Dr. Hawass always says..."Good adventures today!"
Ha! David Cheetham taught my anthropology class....this was entertaining to watch. He's exactly the same way in person XD

One never knows if an Islamist will decide to destroy Egyptian idols | pyramids the way they destroyed Buddhist statues in Afghanistan. All should be grateful Hawass is there at this time to help preserve precious things.

also he said that he doesn't care what's under the sphinx or the mistery, he only wants to keep the sphinx safe because it keeps the records of our past.
So he does not care if they dig, or using instruments beside the sphinx, but not in it.
I read that the found a gaping entrance while repairing the sphinx, but they covered that up mmm

what did Zahi Hawass say when he said " i never thought to be inside the sphinx ".......you did, or you didn't ?
I would understand when he said " you didn't ", because he was under the sphinx, not in it.
But if it is "you did ", it wouldnt make sense because he was under the sphinx, so it must be "you didn't ".
But Zahi said it in such way that he made me think "he wait a minute, what is there exactly in the Sphinx ? ", anybody know this ?
Maybe Zahi Hawas knows more of what's inside.
