-
How do u keep ur tank so clean and how r ur so big?

your synodontis cat is WELL KNOWN for feeding on (thieving) fish eggs in their native habitat , THAT is your #1 culprit
-
Would a 10 gallon tank be good enough for 1 Oscar? or would i have to go to a 20 gallon tank?
-
hey im new to the oscars i have just got some they are still babies i have been told not to put other fish with them for the oscars will eat them and attack them so im asking how did you do it since you have got the luck on keeping other fish with oscars?!?!

they lay eggs and the other fishes eat the eggs? I thought oscars protected their nest vigorously?

actually i chose them more for their shape... they were very good looking babies and quite dull to be honest... i bought the tiger / red one (more pointy nose) and my girlfriend chose the red with the rounded head which was the ugliest baby! I was actrually upset with her for buying it as it was such a runt of a fish... but they seem to have grown up well regardless... they eat tetra doromin daily and earthworms and occasional frozen bloodworm... weekends its live river shrimp ;)

thats a lovely tank. is that sand your using as substrate? I tried using it in my betta tank, to say the least it was quite hard to do water changes. how do you manage?

its white river sand.... its pretty easy infact... just use a hose and siphon the water out holding it over the surface of the sand (not in the sand of course or itll suck it all up)... this way you get the dirt on the top without losing sand in the process ;)
