A slide show video with reference and time line for a Bow River float through north side Calgary... Bowness Park to the 12th Street / St. George's Bridge (The Zoo).

What you will see, how long it will take, other places to launch or get out... a good reference with photos and text (set to music). Rafting the Bow.

  • when is a good time to go, summer just started and I want to go right away.

This is a strange year. Normally you could be out there.

We should be out by the second week of July for sure.

I may try this weekend - but it is still high and fast.

Normally May through October if you can handle the weather changes....

  • Can't wait to jet ski along the river in summer !

  • Well done and very informative for first timers like myself! Looking forward to it!

  • Thank you! I really enjoyed this. We're lucky enough to live near Bowness Park, but we've only done this trip once and got out at Edworthy Park. I would love to go further next time! Made me miss Summer! ;o)
