i'd say ea and tony hawk games pretty much balance it all out,
on one hand, EA makes their games more life-like, adding almost real-world physics. then tony hawk games put more fun into them by putting you into pretty much impossible skate tricks just cuz it's fun to watch you crush it then say "oh my god...i just did that O.O"
