Video diaries of Neil, Joe and Michael hiking the full length of the Hadrian's Wall trail, from Wallsend to Bowness-on-Solway. The toughest and most physical thing ever undertaken by 3 moderately unfit 20 somethings.

Start: 3pm Friday 28th August - Wallsend

Finished: 1.45pm Monday 31st August - Bowness-on-Solway

Three Men, Three Days; One Goal.

On Friday 28th August Myself, Joe Magowan and Neil Gaskell will be taking place in a 84 mile walk across the Hadrians Wall Trail, running from Wallsend to Bowness. The walk is being done in aid of the charity, Donna's Dreamhouse.

The Donnas Dream House Charity in Blackpool is a locally based trust providing free holiday experiences for children and teenagers with life-threatening illnesses and their families, and for recently bereaved siblings and their families.

Whilst the voluntary team of Donnas Dream House provides the expertise, enthusiasm and administration, it is the generosity of many companies, organisations and individuals in raising and donating money, that makes it possible to bring not only sunshine and fun into childrens lives, but a sense of wonder, adventure, laughter and much needed holidays in Blackpool for the whole family.

As Donnas Dream House is operated by volunteers only, the administration cost is about 1% to cover legal requirements of the Charities Commission. So 99p of each pound raised is used to provide the holidays and accommodation costs plus related support work.

We would like to thank everyone for their kind donations - without your support we would not be able to keep Donna's Dream House going.

Through many generous donations it has been possible for us to expand and bring the same joy to teenagers with serious illnesses and for their families to capture some happy memories.

We require all the support and sponsors we can get to hit our goal of £1000 and your support will be greatly appreciated by all!

Money raised: TBC

Thanks to:

The lovely group of people playing the quiz at Gosling Bridge who kindly sponsored us very generously. (I knew it was Reece Whitherspoon!)

http://www.caravanpark-cumbria.com/ (for being kind enough to let us camp for free on the final night)

http://www.kingsarmsbowness.co.uk/ (to the lovely landlady who made us realise just how much people can appreciate our small efforts and for kindly donating the bar tips to our cause. That memory will stick)

http://www.english-heritage.org.uk/server/show/nav.13166 (to the nice ladies at Chester's Roman Fort who let us in for free to grab a mid-trek sandwhich on our longest day)

And to all those who helped us, sponsored us; and made the whole trip worth doing.
