He writes from the heart, he has 2 disabled sons, he knows about faithfulness. He writes about some of this in a book Make Love, Make war: Come Now is the Time to Worship. It deals with how he came to write some of his best known songs. Great reading. I remember going to a concert of his in Abbotsford BC Canada and he said shears when he meant spears. We all laughed. Bit too much gardening going on.
