Students at Todd County Central High School are the winners of a contest for production of a public service announcement about the dangers of distracted driving.

The Kentucky Office of Highway Safety invited students to create 30-second scripts for videos to raise awareness among teens. A panel of judges picked three finalists and a public online vote determined the winner.

Students Nick Newsam, Tiffani White, Ashley Sander and Trace Yates produced the video featuring classmate Kellie Wyatt, who almost lost her life because of distracted driving.
