Its Spring beloveds! Yahoo. Gardening, flowers and butterflies....Where are all the butterflies..every year there seems to be less and less. I went to a butterfly sanctuary, and a nursery and bought some milkweed...to try to help out. Would you like to help dear ones...You know you can...its simple.

Also,tThere is an Italian poem that my Nonna and Mama used to say to me when I was little...it always taught me to be kind to the butterflies....

Its basically about a little girl who was holding the butterfly and the butterfly was saying let me go...Then the little girl Theresa...was sorry for what she was doing and released the butterfly.

Mamma, thank you for this video. I agree, I believe it would be a great idea for a world garden day, where we all sit back and take in the beauty and life of a garden. Each year I start another, adding to what I started with. Once when I was 13 I had a cocoon in the window of my bedroom. It was so cool to see the Monarch that emerged to the world, and I let it out my window. My garden brings me joy, I know the bees are busy doing an important job. Peace, Love and Hugs to you and the butterflies.

Yes Yes..thank you dear one. Jolanda this has been on my heart since the seventies...Different animal rights have been on my mind for years but the butterfly recently has taken precidence in my mind. I bought several milkweed. They proliferate quickly too. So if one doesn't want them to take over their garden then find another place to plant them...maybe a relative with acres of land too. Or perhaps a yard that one isn't using for for much of anything else.

More ideas are welcome.
