At 28 seconds the car goes from right to left behind the trees directly between Melanie and Ashley.

If you look real close, it looks more like someone on horseback, especially when you go to the right after sec 43. Seems to be a toss-up between horseback riders in the far background or autos on a highway.

I saw that posting on IMDb too and I agree with you - but now, check sec 43 (behind Olivia) and then watch it go to the right (sec. 45 till end): something is moving... could be light reflections, people walking or a car....

Someone at the IMDb site for "Gone with the Wind" says he spots a car in this scene where Melanie and Ashley go outdoors (in upper left-hand corner of screen). Personally, I can't spot it and doubt whether this is true. There definitely is a car in "Robin Hood" that can be spotted in the forest background in the scene where Much is rescued by Will Scarlett, but not here. Any thoughts???
