What's happening, everyone? I'm Dana Ward at the Clevver TV studio with the latest from the Britster.

Most recently it's been said that Britney Spears is hooked up to her agent. DATING, that is. Jason is his name and apparently, he's bff-s with Brit's bro, Bryan. The William Morris agent has already been spotted at Christian Audigier's 50th birthday bash in LA together. Plus, they even took a mini vakay to the Bahamas together after the pop-princess finished the North American leg of her Circus tour. To make things even MORE intense, a source said that Mr. Spears - Britney's DAD, to be exact - LOVES Jason and that he is the best thing that's happened to her.

Of course, love is a good thing when you are entangled in a lawsuit. According to reports, Britney's camp has responded to ex-manager Sam Lutfi's lawsuit. Lutfi had apparently claimed that defamation and unpaid fees were at the heart of the matter, and the court approved a March 2010 trial date. Spears' side is saying that the verbal contract between Brit and Sam is VOID due to false promises and unclear disclosure of the contract. On top of all of this mess, Lutfi allegedly filed an appeal to the extension of his restraining order from B-Spears.
