In those days Indian choreography was ridiculous (except for Indian classical dances). I still remember the cheap dancing steps of Jetendar and Sri-devi. There was one which was almost like a horse galloping. It was soooooo funny!!!

@devillovesbible Excuse me!! Nazia was spotted by Zeenat Aman as the latter was Nazia's family friend. Nazia and her family had settled in Britian where, somehow, her family befriended Zeenat. Her family was already very influential in the media circles in Pakistan. Nazia and her brother have been singing since childhood. They were regulars on "Hum Hee Hum" (a Music teaching program for child singers hosted by Legendary Sohail Rana)

This film's soundtrack was one of the biggest in the 80's and made Nazia & Zoeb into huge massive stars. sadly the film was a poor flop and rati's dancing in this number lacks the required energy

I think "Boom Boom" was partly inspired by "I Feel Love", sung by Donna Summer and produced by Giorgio Moroder. But then again, Moroder was also inspired by "Kung Fu Fighting", which was produced by Biddu, the producer of "Boom Boom".

Oh come on! She's pretty, yes. Good actress, yes. But good dancer, no! Anyway, everyone's entitled to their own opinion.
