Dick Cheney makes his claim that anything the President does in "wartime" is legal. Cheney is making his final media tour, spitting in the face of the Constitution and all Americans, daring to be held accountable before Bush pardons him. That we have a Vice President who is an admitted torture authorizing war criminal is bad enough. But having him rub it in the public's face adds insult to injury

  • @trel723 Bill Clinton didn't cause 9/11. Terrorists who were NOT from Iraq, mind you, caused it. I didn't see Mr. Clinton piloting those planes, nor did he provoke those terrorists to do it.

  • @Silberdachs Best comment ever. Very well said.

  • That's digusting that he would say such a thing. He's probably out hiding in his bunker as I type this. He really should be arrested for war crimes. But, since he's "above the law", I guess that won't happen.

  • Cheney's explanation of the president's powers during wartime seems to imply that perpetual war is in the governments best interest. That's a scary thought. I wonder why Cheney isn't being investigated for his (probable) misdeeds while CEO of Halliburton and his misuse of power while VP. He's a very scary guy.

  • NO! Reject Cheney! Jail Cheney NOW! Cheney should be standing in a Jail Cell in IRAQ with the floor covered in Feeces and Urine!

  • Put Cheney (and Rove) in Gitmo. Waterboard them every day. Hey, it's not like it's torture or anything. They've both said so.

  • "In war time"

The war to which this despicable crook refers to was an UNPROVOKED offensive against Iraq.

A war which should never have occurred.

So, we didn't like the dictator of Iraq!

We don't like dictators and emperors of many, many nations!

The man should be tried and convicted and then the 545 of our elected officials, KICKED out of office for refusing to respond to the will of Americans...get the HELL OUT OF IRAQ!

  • " The President of the USA, now for 50 yrs. is follwed at all times 24hrs. aday by a military aid carrying a FOOTBALL, that contains the nuclear codes that he would use and be authorized to use IN THE EVENT OF A NUCLEAR ATTACK ON THE USA. He could launch the kind of Devastating attack the world has never seen. HE DOESN'T HAVE TO CHECK WITH ANYBODY, HE DOESN'T HAVE TO CALL THE CONGRESS, HE DOESN'T HAVE TO CHECK WITH COURTS. He has that authority because of the NATURE OF THE WORLD WE LIVE IN." VP

  • ...in your dreams?

  • actualy 3 countries have declared war on the USA since 1999 Afgnstn...Iran...Iraq
