Oh fun. This combo involved the third of three techniques that you need to use for the final combo; the ULTRA LOW Burning Kick. This is arguably the Most important thing to learn, as it is possible to connect all the hits in the last combo, but if that burning kick isn't ULTRA LOW, you won't pass. The game shuns you for going too high on your burning kicks, apparently.

To do this tricky piece of trick, you have to press Down/Up During the animation of your EX Ground Punch. There will be a slight delay before Viper actually jumps, but the Instant she does, you have to do the burning kick. If the kick doesn't go off, you didn't hit Down/Up accurately enough, as since we learned from the previous combo, it is a combo breaker which allows you to move faster than would normally be possible.

Good luck on this one, it's not so rough. Just do that kick FAST.

  • ive done this about 30xs now, and it never registers....

  • You're not doing the High Jump--> Burning kick fast enough. I know it's asinine, but for the combo to connect, the burning kick has to look like a standing heavy burning kick. The up-side is that this is pretty easy once you know how to do it. All you have to do is press down/up right at the beginning of the EX hammer, and then do the burning kick as the animation ends. There's a lot of time compared to the rest of her combos.

    Anyway, hope that helps, and good luck on #5 too.

  • Did you use the stick or pad on this one?

    This seems awfully hard to do with the pad, because the best motion to do is d, db,b,uf + K really fast to do the High Jump cancel and BK in a same movement.

  • I use a Pad, and incidentally this is the only trial I can do at will with C.Viper. The trick is to do the high jump right at the beginning of the seismic hammer, since it doesn't matter When you do it for the cancel to work. If you do the High jump right at the beginning there's perfectly enough time to do the burning kick at the end and it should come out correctly with relative ease.

  • The thing I noticed about this combo in particular is it is pretty much do-able 100% of the time, only sometimes the Burning Kick and Thunder Knuckle don't register on trial even when they land so technically regardless of timing of the High Jump the combo is VERY do-able online, just like Trial #1 Combo.

  • Ah, it's true, and making the HJ Not connect for the trial tends to actually make it easier to connect in a fight as well. It doesn't save my C.Viper game though. She's easily one of (if not #1) my worst characters and I play as everybody. lol.

  • Instead of doing downup then burning kick, you input the burning kick like this : Down, downback, back, upforward+kick. That way you will do ground version of burning kick, and complete the trial.

  • This is the worst fooking trial Ever.

    Even when i do it and get all the hits it wont register the air Burning kick ! who thought of this shit anyway ?

    (And yea I read that it has to be Very low)

  • impossible...i always had trouble doing the jump and then qcb high kick in normal trial...now they want me to do this.

  • When I say that is "the same" I mean that in #3, 4, 5 you have to cancel with the Super Jump and do the movement BEFORE Viper actually leaves the ground, so you have a small time-frame to pull the move. In #3 you have to do the Ultra (wich was very difficult for me) and in #4 and #5 you have to do the Burning Kick (wich is so much easier)
