This idea tries to maximise the winds potential by rotating the blades as they are rotated around the central column. The central cog is half the diameter of the rotating cogs, so one half turn around the central shaft, results in the blades rotation through 90 degrease.

  • funny idea

  • Great concept! Just need to add some quantum levitation bearings.

  • To many moving parts equals more to break.

  • I wonder if the friction of the gears would negate any positive gain in energy. xodarap also has a good question about wind direction.

  • this is clever.

How will you enable it to cope with changes in wind direction?

  • radical!
