Reagan is the best. I go to Reagan. But I also like Churchill at the same time, and I would go to Churchill instead of Johnson if I had to choose between the two.

@Motogu ya i agree, im in the reagan band right now and just about all of us have no idea what it was like during the shows from 03-07. the only people that remember 2007 are the seniors this year. everything else is past and done with. The only thing that shows us how "god like" we were are the trophies in the trophy case displayed in the band hall from when we won all our boa competitions and the 2nd place boa trophies from 2003 and 2005. 1st at: 2 boa sa's, 2 boa arlngtons, & 2 boa houstons

Reagan got a new head director, new drillwriter, and 3 new assistants for '07. A couple directors left in '08, and in '09 Reagan got a new head director and percussion director. Only one director is still at Reagan from '06. Staff changes devastated the band: different marching style, rehearsal styles, different motivation, and overall different atmosphere. The old Reagan Band is gone. The current students don't know what it was like. Stop asking for it back, and be excited for new things.

first off, I just wanna say I'm not fighting with you, just disagreeing. lol. I too think that 07 had some cool music, it just wasn't performed good. I think it was a HUGE mistake in the visual departement for the opening hit to be moving away from the crowd. Even though it looked Awesome, i think it made the music suffer. 08 was ok considering the circumstances: School split, change in music arranger, drill writer, directors, etc.. btw friend, what do you think about my Best of's videos

I thought in '07 they actually had an enjoyable show with some cool music. In '08 it was just....meh. Uninteresting to me. And I don't feel we're qualified to doubt the judge's opinions by saying they're scoring them high because of the name of the school. That obviously hasn't helped them the past two years.

What I mean by political reasons was that Reagan had a terrible year in 07, just terrible.  In my opinion, 07 was by far worse than 08 or 09, cuz they still had their big numbers in 07, and experienced players. Yet, the judges felt obligated to score them high because of the name...same reason why Cavaliers keep scoring high...same reason Yankees and Red Sox get biased calls..........P.S.~Reagan's numbers this coming year are going to increase drastically.
