Track 1.

Merciless EP (1994):

Track 1 recorded Dec. 1993. Tracks 2 and 3 biomechanical mixes recorded 1991-1993. Track 4 "Don't Bring Me Flowers" demixed Dec. 1993. "Merciless" is actually an old Fall of Because song, remixed, and it seems that "Last of the Biomechanical Urgents" by Murder Inc. is played backwards on "Unworthy". Robert Hampson appears on tracks 3 and 4. This ep was released June, 1994 and was re-released as part of a double cd package with "Selfless" September 10th 1996. The cover is taken from the 1943 film Meshes of the Afternoon.

Lyrics:
Show no mercy, Kicked me to the ground
Felt no pain, You're deaf to every sound

Credits:
G.C. Green - Bass guitar, Producer, Engineer
J.K. Broadrick - Guitar, Vocals, Producer, Engineer
Robert Hampson - Guitar on tracks 3 and 4
Machines - Rhythm & samples

  • one of the baddest cd's, lp's and or ep's to ever come to print. Mercilessssssssss!!!

  • Agree

  • My second favorite Godflesh song next to Christbait Rising.

  • RATS LIVE ON NO EVIL STAR

  • In my opinion, this little EP is far better than their "Selfless" album released the same year. It has more of an old school gritty Godflesh sound to it.

I really wish they would have done more songs for Merciless, and made it into a full lenth album

  • I had the cassette of this...I don't even need it though. I know it backwards and forwards.

  • respectable;apsolutely beautiful; Godflesh's music calls in for the reality conquest headlining the truth we all think are are sure about

  • @mercyf3ll2012 I paid full price for it when it came out and enjoy it every time I spin it, yeah!!!

  • This song was my anthem and probably still is..... shows what a screwed up life I've had

  • mine is a double white vinyl version...great song...
