Demo Track 4 (FINAL 10-18-10)

I began to make this melody on March 28, 2008, so it was well over 2 years ago, already (Omg, did that much time seriously pass?!) I've created various versions of this track with small differences, but it was never really "finished." For example, it never had a bridge part or it ended abruptly with no ending. Today, I finally finished this piece and will do no further editing. I think this is one of my VERY best original creations that everyone seems to enjoy listening to, so I finally uploaded it to YouTube for everyone to hear.

When I made this piece, many things inspired me from within myself. I thought quite a bit about the Final Fantasy series, however I didn't think about the music from those games. Rather, I thought about the threatening battles that took place within those worlds and intimidating situations that arise, which one must claim victory over. Thus, for a long time I have personally dubbed this composition as "Intense," because I believe it portrays that feeling of anxiety one feels under the pressure of [sci-fi] battles.

Many people tell me that this melody reminds them of Pokémon music. This surprises me, because I didn't intend for it to sound anything like Pokémon at all, and that was coming from more than one person.
