Optimus Prime Impression

I am sorry I haven't been able to post any tut lessons lately, I'm busy with life and what not, lol.. but I was watching Transformers and Thought Id check for some videos of Peter Cullen, and I found an impression that I wanted to try..

There's a bit of info you didn't know about me.. I also do impressions of famous characters, lol.. provided they interest me.

I'm pretty confident in my Optimus impression, so I decided to record it on my Blackberry so you could see that there was no tweaking.. that is the raw file. It takes a while to train my voice to go that low though lol..

This could sound infinitely better if you had a decent microphone--even though the tone might be off a bit, you've got most of Peter Cullen's nuances down quite well.

I agree. I did it with the crappy blackberry phone to prove a point to this one video poster who was doing a terrible job.. not just my oppinion, many others as well.

But I made it so he could see that it's not so much the quality of the mic as it is the ability to catch those subtleties. No matter what, the only true optimus is Peter, lol.. but some of us can work at it :D
