A valid guide to learn how to create your hown sampled instrument and to use it with your recordings.
You can get fun with, and emulate Jean Michel jarre or Vangelis or many others.

  • Nice tutorial. theandroids asked a good question if it's possible to answer. Again, nice tutorial. Thanks.

  • @tomaytemptation Right for theandroid's question, but: 1st I didn't fully understood his question, and 2nd, it's out of this tutorial. With words it's often more difficult to explain things than with pictures. That's why I use videotutorials.

  • @iw2mln What theandroids is asking is if you can assign a picture to the instrument you created. Only example I can think of is the instruments in Garageband.

  • @tomaytemptation Apart in some shop, I never used intensively Garage Band. So that I have not clue what's needed. What you can do is to click on the wrench, to choose Instrument Options and to assign one of the icons are up there. Alternatively you can use the script editor adding: set_control_par_str($INST_ICON_ID,$CONTROL_PAR_PICTURE,file_name) where file_name should be the path end the name of the file of your own picture

  • @iw2mln ah that sounds about right. Thanks a lot.

  • @tomaytemptation You're welcome :)
