@Soupthemighty The Ark of the Covenant was a JEWISH relic.

Secular schools can never be tolerated because such schools have no religious instruction, and a general moral instruction without a religious foundation is built on air; consequently, all character training and religion must be derived from faith ...we need believing people.

the German soldiers adorned crosses and Germany remained Christian throughout the Third Reich. Historical films reveal the huge Christmas celebrations which were all approved by Hitler. When the atheist jew-funded communists ransacked Hitler's private library one of the books stood out as the most paged-thru of them all which translates in English to "The Words Of Christ". The "holocaust" propaganda lies were spread to slander all Christians in addition to the Germans.

It is well known that Hitler sought the Ark of the Covenant more than any other mystical item except the Spear or Grail. It is such common knowledge Spielberg made the Nazi pursuit of Ark of the Covenant the theme of his movie. But you can check it out in The Occult Roots of Nazism by the historian Nicholas Goodrick-Clarke.
Even if he was critical of Catholicism, Hitler NEVER ATTENDED A CHRISTIAN WORSHIP SERVICE IN HIS ADULT LIFE. That simply is not a Christian. Not an atheist either.
Forgive me, but wasn't the Ark of the Covenant a CHRISTIAN relic, mentioned several times in the Bible?

"I have no recollection of hearing about Hitler searching for Stars of David or Star and Crescents"
Wow, did someone miss seeing Speilberg's "Raiders of the Lost Ark"? Hitler's obsession with finding the Ark of the Covenant is well known (along with the Spear of Destiny, Holy Grail, etc). Hitler thought the Ark would make his armies invincible.
"Being the dictator of germany ..."
He didn't achieve that until his mid-40s. Even then, he found time to visit every War Memorial in Europe

Next I suppose you;re going to tell me that "Raiders of the Lost Ark" is evidence for Indiana Jones, hmm? I mean, we're talking about a HOLLYWOOD MOVIE here.
And Hitler may have not attended mass despite a professed belief in Jesus because he was critical of traditional catholocism, and included many protestant beliefs into his new(what he called) "Positive Christianity" which depicted Jesus as a fighter against the Jews.
