McCoy Cries...

First he does the regurgitation thing, then he gets upset... for the last few weeks, this is what McCoy does, as soon as I start getting ready to go to work! I start to change into "work clothes" - as opposed to my usual tee shirt and jeans - and he just knows... it's uncanny! And it's not like he hates the rest of the family, cuz he chooses to hang with them, over me, plenty often, on my nights off - but he cries until I actually leave, when I have to work... almost breaks my heart!

Anyone else ever seen this kind of behavior?

Aww - don't be sad! He's outgrowing the separation anxiety, and getting better at just saying "Bye-bye! Bye-bye!" with a few kisses, now! (Like a pre-schooler!) LOL! :)

Mine is too little to not make baby sounds. He seems to know when I am leaving in the morning. I don't have a set routine, but he somehow knows. He'll growl and watch me leave. When he is older, he may start to annoucement my leaving.

I used to have a pet galah (Australian Bird) who thought Mum was his mate. She would let him out in the house every morning and would give her a cuddle when she put him away. However if she got changed first - he would bite her - he didnt like her going out
