How to play Goin' Down South by R.L. Burnside.

Nervous Niven Presents a crash course guitar lesson on R.L. Burnside's "Goin' Down South" AKA "Going Down South".

This particular version of "Goin' Down South" is played in standard tuning and is in the key of "A minor" (more or less). However, not all R.L.'s versions of Goin' Down South are played in standard tuning... There is a particularly magical rendition of this tune on the album entitled "R.L. Burnside's First Recordings"..... I believe the version recorded on this album is played out of an "Open D" tuning.

I live here in Memphis, TN and saw Burnside live several times before his death. You have by far done more to capture his style in your lessons that anyone on youtube.
