  • Why rotary engines are cool: -Crazy horsepower per liter potential -Less vibration -Only a few moving parts -Super high rpms -Lightweight Why rotary engines suck: -Fuel suckers -Oil suckers -Short life expectancy -No torque Don't flame me, I know a guy who works in a rotary-specific garage and was out having drinks with him and his boss once when he showed me his new tattoo of a rotor. I said "That's cool dude, but it'll be gone in 75,000 miles!" and they got a real kick out of it.
  • any car will do 200k+ miles if u maintain it. (almost any car :P)

  • @ButtPoopWiggle Agreed, except for one part, "-Oil Suckers" There are plenty of cars that burn more oil than a rotary. I've owned 3 Fcs and one Fe, they burned less oil than my mitsu and GM... The difference? When the rotary burns oil, it's working properly.

Okay just had to get that off my chest.

  • @TheViciente

    rotary engine is german invention

  • Thanks for this

  • .. VERY interesting looking, but BAD marketing; wanna keep the products & technology in japan? no? .. then have things like this translated!

  • My RX7 has 180K on it. Still runing strong. Not much low end torque, but get it up to 6K rpm and she does 85MPH up a 6% grade

  • Japanese always put a new (next) dimension on european inventions! Would like to see what happens if Italians and Japanese would do stuff togheter, even nasa would be obsolete

  • i love this video and i love how subtitles spontaneously appear in front of my eyes.

can you please translate and add subs, i wanna know what they are saying. AND DON'T TELL ME, THEY ARE SAYING GO LEARN JAPANESE :-P

  • @Tj1056 HAHA

  • @Tj1056 Actually it goes round and round and round. get your physics right
