A teenager mauled to death by two coyotes while hiking alone in Canada was a promising young musician, it has emerged.
The victim was identified as 19-year-old Taylor Mitchell, a singer-songwriter from Toronto who was touring to promote her new album.
Taylor was hiking on a trail in Cape Breton Highlands National Park, Nova Scotia, on Tuesday when the wild animals pounced on her.
She was airlifted to a Halifax hospital in a critical condition but died on Wednesday morning, authorities said. http://www.myspace.com/taylormitchellband

Bei einer Wanderung in der ostkanadischen Provinz Scotia wurde die 19-Jährige im Cape-Breton-Highlands-Nationalpark von Kojoten angefallen. Ein Spaziergänger, der Taylors Schreie vernahm, holte Hilfe. Schwer verwundet wurde sie in eine Klinik nach Halifax geflogen, doch die Behandlung nützte nichts mehr. In der Nacht zum Mittwoch (28. the first song i ever heard from taylor mitchell. and it is so beautiful. she says so much in just the chorus alone, let alone the verses. this is a person who knew how to live life, and reach for the stars. she taught me something of how to live my life, and she lives on in me. i hope others can garner inspiration for what she stood for. because she stood for being great in whatever you do. as long as you do it purely.

@HolgerHelfert well, people go on with their lives. there are much more artists out there. what happened to her is cruel, but first she wasn't very famous, her music is not that outstanding (but nice though) and young people dying is part of this world. so most people care about their own lives actually.
