The complete song, played simply as a solo piece. Not perfect, but the best single take I managed to record in the hour or so I had to myself this evening.

The guitar is a Squier Super-Sonic, the amp is a Peavey Mini Colossal, and the effect is a Boss Giga Delay. The tone I"m getting out of this setup isn't everything I had hoped, but it is the first time I've tried this combination. If I can get a better complete take I'll upload it later.

This video came out of my frustration watching videos of other players covering this song, but recorded over the original track, making it very difficult to hear what the guitarist is actually playing. So why not try it solo? But as a solo piece it seems to need a little something to help establish the rhythm -- hence the delay.

  • i am not very sure what guitar i have. i a squier jagmaster in the music store. I thought it looked cool and also i had never seen one like it before so i bought it. the body looks like your guitar body so it might be a mix

  • There was a 2002 Chinese-made Jagmaster with a silver sparkle finish, but it has the body and headstock shape of the regular Jagmasters (without the reversed headstock and body shape). Maybe it is that one?

  • awesomE !!

  • Very good!!!

  • nice playing...but way too fast.

  • Hi there,

For more information on this guitar, go to Wikipedia and search for "Squier Super-Sonic." I got this one for about $400 on eBay. These guitars are a lot of fun to play although the standard pickups they come with are not very good. I might wind up putting in better pickups.

  • that was awsome

  • not bad. Liked the clean sound.

Would sound great with a drum and bass track
