Maurice Ravel's Bolero is one of the most famous classical pieces of the 19th century. Almost every instrument of the orchestra has the honor to play the main theme. Except violas.

Here Federico Bresciani and Emily Sally having fun during the Konservatorium Wien Symphonieorchester's dress rehearse in Vienna's Konzerthaus

  • 8:36 Where did his bow go? It just disappeared...

  • Yep. It's really hypnotic playing that part - to the point of hypnotizing yourself into a semi-alert state. Of course the music is hypnotizing to look at too so if you don't look around, watch the soloists, wink at, make eyes at, players, conductors, etc. you will go INTO A DEEP SLEEP so watch out.
