You know, there's an easy way to improve the Shy Guy Squad special attack:
Hold the DS vertically so that you can rapidly slide the stylus downward, instead of to the left.
In other words, the DS is held so that the top screen is on the left, and the touch screen is on the right. That way, the stylus can be slid downward, a much more natural direction.
