@ITDXB I believe that the median household income in the United States is just shy of $50k/year. That being said, the last sentence of my original comment was in reference to a person holding an industrial facility management position and not to a person living in the United States in general.

@einbischen A person in charge of production for a 400+ million dollar facility producing hundreds of millions of dollars a year in profit and employing hundreds of skilled workers fits most people's definition of "top management". Also, $200k a year for a facility management position is standard pay for someone below 40 and living in the United States.

200k a year if you're in charge of producing is nothing, you just have low standards. I bet the top management earns at least 5 times that on average.

fantastic field, my wife works for pharm. company in US, even in this economy, they cant find enough qualified work force. she is under forty pulling over 200k a year.
