Here I am cutting the first of those four soaps I poured yesterday...my Heineken Beer Cold Process Soap. This one is naturally colored using Spirulina and only scented with Essential Oils of Lemongrass and Pine Fir Needle.
These will be available in my Etsy Store in about 4 weeks.

Thanks for watching!! :0)

  • I like how u made do, with the broken mold. Also u can use a couple of cans of beans or something to push it through (the soap). No soap is boring, to watch :-0)

  • @Seedcovers Thanks! That's a great idea about pushing it out with a can...Thank You for the tip!! :0)

  • I am dying to make beer soap. Does the beer scent stay or do you add a beer fragrance. I watched a video awhile ago of on making beer soap and they mentikoned that the smell of the lye when mixed with the beer is horrible but it cures out. Is that true? Does this trace fast? I am a slow soaper, LOL and I get nervous whenever I hear "fast trace". I think thats why I havent tried it yet. Sorry for all the questions!! Oh and I love the round shape it seems that is the signature look for beer soaps!

  • @SoapLoversUnite Hi! Yes, it does smell absolutely horrible when you add the lye...the stouter the beer, the worse it is. The only beer soap I don't scent is my Guinness Stout because of its unique aroma, which is very natural. All the others I add just a touch of essential oils because it doesn't really resemble anything close to the smell of the beer....some may just like it natural though. I haven't had any unusually fast tracing beers yet, so I think you'd be safe there.

  • @SoapLoversUnite I wanted to also say, I have to do a new batch of Guinness Stout...maybe I'll get a chance to videotape it. Good Luck if you try it and make sure to show us!! :0)

  • I like the look of the round shape soap, I have seen people use pringles can for soaping, I think I'm going to give that a try! I have never made a beer soap... do you think these sell better with the men or the woman?

  • @mrscrafty100 Hey Dani! These sell equally well for me by both men and women. During Christmas, women were definately buying them all as presents. Just make sure your beer is COMPLETELY Flat or you'll have an eruption when you add the Lye!! :0)
