  • you can take any thing and "prime" it with a consistent thought pattern (repeated mantras, prayers..); ex: "prayer cloth"; the thing will contain the input-pattern (as memory); anyone else then focusing on this (pre-primed)thing will pick up the pattern; everything has a "vibe" & stores it (as memory); ex: have you ever stepped into an old house and got a clear sense of the feel of the history of its occupants? same principle; ..

  • Thank You, I love this stuff.

  • maybe people should stop arguing seeing as you have to have a million minds that ever were, ever are, and ever will be to be definitely right. peace and love to all

  • @T1Brit No proof is required. If I ask you to look at the sky - I don't need to prove to you what color it is. Buddhism is exactly the same. It tells you what buddha saw, and what you will see too if you look in the same way. It is the same thing that everybody sees because it is simply what is.

What is more - what buddha saw - and what all buddhist mastwers see, is exactly what modern scientists are seeing at the quantum level.

The parallels are striking and irrefutable.

    Buddhism is right.

  • @C0C0nutFace My original reply to you coconut, was a reaction to your rudeness to the person who made the video, plus your failure to spell phenomena and apparent failure to understand the meaning of ther word mechanical as it is generally understood. I am not sure at what point this has become an attack on me personally - I thought you were attacking buddhism.

Anyhow - buddhism does indeed explain a great deal - but asks you to believe nothing.

It asks you to practice and see for yourself.

  • @C0C0nutFace " you nitwit. This guy knows absolutely nothing about physics and is making a complete fool of himself. It's like someone who can't speak French, pretending they understand the French language because they can say about three French words. "

If that is not rude, then you are a coconut. Oh wait...

Anyway - the definiton of a religion would include a God that is worshipped, and articles of faith that are accepted as true without proof.

Buddhism fits neither of these criteria.

  • @C0C0nutFace

Neither does quantum mechanics have it's roots in logic. You are confusing logic with mathematics.

Neither am I religious - am am merely pedantic about english grammar.

Neither am I attempting to change the subject.

    Neither am I a 'loser'

I simply refute your rude and ill-informed statement.

  • @C0C0nutFace It is quite amusing that you are doing exactly what the video warns against. Taking the definition of the word mechanics and arguing whether it is being used correctly , rather than lokking at the meaning of what is being said.

I repeat - what the speaker means is classical mechanics.

If you wish to include everything that has the name mechanics into classical mechanics, then you would have to include quantum calculations into simple newtonian physics - which is an absurd idea.

  • @C0C0nutFace

Listen coconutface - before you call anybody a nitwit, you ought to learn to spell phenomena. And you are wrong. Phenomena like quantum entanglement have nothing to do with mechanics in the classical sense - which is what is meant here.

And before you have a go at the simple minded, be aware that you may be insulting yourself.
