Tilted? Yes, it is. It is mounted on a drum riser that tilts to 30 degrees, designed by Bob Gatzen, I think? It is supposed to be good for your back...

Oh my god he makes sense when he says" if you can do it with one foot you should. You get lazy." Every since I started playing double bass, (about 6 years ago) I feel like my right foot has gotten slower, and the quick beats I used to do, seem to be harder then they used to be. I really think that is because I HAVE gotten lazy. THanks just for that. I thought I was just gettin old. LOL

good! I have the problem that I`m pretty good with double bass but hard to get semi fast double strokes with one foot! strange, isn`t it?
