There is a new story line starting when Mason leaves Nov 16, so the guys do not go on a back burner. If the new story , which is being touted as having great promise, really turns out to be any good, and if the guys ever get some real bedroom action in their, as yet unseen, new apartment, I might give this show another chance. Van Hansis (Luke, As the World Turns) is hosting Cyndi Laupers True Colors Cabaret, a charity event in support of GLBT equality issues. All of the evenings proceeds will benefit the True Colors Fund and Broadway Impact, which is founded by Ms. Lauper and Broadway star Gavin Creel. Looks like Noah may find himself without any eyesight in the near future. Looks like World Turns is throwing Nuke back on the front burner. Noahs doctor will be gay and fall head over heels in love with Luke, offers the mole.
Noah's taken to the hospital after fireworks from his production blow up in his face. At the hospital, Lily and Damian arrive in just enough time to stop a fight between Luke and Mason. Mason leaves, but comes back to threaten Luke with a lawsuit. He fumes that none of this would have happened if it weren't for Luke. Fed up, Luke tells Mason to stay away from him, and from Noah. After Mason leaves, the doctor asks if Noah has family around because he needs someone to sign off on a risky, but necessary procedure. While Luke tries, to no avail, to contact Noah's aunt, Damian suggests to Lily that they adopt Noah. It turns out that Noah has no insurance and if surgery isn't done to reduce the brain swelling, it might be too late. Lily and Damian agree that adopting Noah is their only option, so that they can cover the cost of his surgery. Later, Luke's hurt by Noah's harsh words. (SOS)
- Lily and Damian adopt Noah! When and unconscious Noah needs crucial surgery this week and there's no-one available to provide consent, Lily and Damian make a shocking move. "It's not enough that Noah is her son's boyfriend, Lily wants him as her son!" laughs Noelle Beck, noting that, "it's not Lily's idea though. It's Damian's. But Lily does think it's a good idea because it solves all the problems they need to contend with immediately. Noah is in the hospital, and he can't have the surgery he needs in order to survive without some sort of consent. Noah's aunt is missing in action, so they have to act fast. Of course, with Noah out cold, he has no idea he's about to get some new family, along with some much-needed surgery to ease the swelling of his brain. "They set the proceedings in motion without Noah's knowledge," notes Beck, "It's a desperate situation." But after Noah's surgery he's not so quick to agree. "He's not too thrilled initially because he's not feeling that strongly toward Damian," admits Beck, "And he's sort of adjusting to the situation itself. He is overwhelmed with everything and has a lot of mixed feelings. But he does come around, and I think he really feels like a son toward Lily. They have a nice connection, and he trusts Lily and that she's got his best interest at heart." (...) As for Lily's new son, Noah, the big question is, whether or not he'll be able to say anything at all. (SOW)

What the heck? The Meg-Damien/Lily-Holden thing is gonna be really confusing, especially b/c Damien & Lily will legally be Noah's parents & Lily & Holden are legally Luke's parents... future legal issues if anyone finds out about the marriage/adoption mess much? But why would anyone complain about an adoption to save a life is beyond me.

It's either "Cara" or "Mia Cara", which translate to "Dear" and "My Dear."
A case of "writers didn't do the research", because we rarely call each other "Cara" or "Caro" without being sarcastic.

If something happens while vacationing in Canada, you will get the best care in hospitals, they worry about the money later. 16 industrialized countries have Universal Medicare & the States are still looking into it while 50 million Americans have no health insurance, what a shame! And Luke would have power of attorney in Canada because they would be considered as common-law partners. How behind the States are, not impressive at all.

Question sometimes Damian calls Lily a odd name, does anyone know what it is, he say it when they are talking about adoping Noah.
