i feel for you man
i had a sort of the same thing today
only less hard
the wind was gusting like crazy
and then suddenly it cought me off guard
it jerked me all over the place
made a face-plant,,right on my nose
now it's a but crooked and hurts like hell
also my shoulders hurt real bad

Thank god it was only that man!! But in my case i had no lessons no one there knew anything about kiteboarding 7bf gusty n changing direction with a 14qm kite so... it was painfull :) !!

Couldn't tell what hit me really, and still don't remember anything from that day!But I'm ok now :) just changed kite to windsurfing!!!
