@zakipad For the same reason, Secret Service won't sign autographs either---because that could be used as a distraction to attack the principal.

@zakipad No, the Secret Service guy I think was saying no to a handshake. I personally know some other PI's that have assisted Secret Service folks on VIP visits and they've said they're not supposed to shake anyone's hand; primarily for safety reasons. They have to keep both of their hands free just in case someone tried to attack their principal ( in this case, the president. )
Some folks think it's rude, but they're not trying to be mean or anything, just thinking of safety for principal.

The secret service guys look MAD! and if you watch closely you can even see a secret service guy saying no and shaking his head to iPad guy. And at 0:31 I'm surprised the secret service didn't tackle that person with the pen. It's illegal to have a pen or pencil when your near the president... Sharpies are fine though lol
