  • Many don't know that without African resources the west starves the elite white imperialists are in the process of pulling out of central Asia and are now. Turning back to Africa they don't want to have to deal with a China middle man when they want access to vital resources. The uncle tom African leaders working with them really have know clue what type of animal they are dealing with, or they are just very frightened. Who knows.

  • Its in China's interests to be as helpful to Africa as possible now ; especially in the light of what happened in Ivory Coast and Libya were one leader was humiliated. The other executed in cold blood now Obama has sent 100 highly trained killers to Uganda I don't think any African leader can sleep safe in his bed. Many forget Gaddafi was doing pretty much everything the west wanted and he was still publicly executed as warning to those who seek to close ties with anyone, but the West .

  • @thierryfreeman Before putting words on my mouth, or better said, typing words for me make sure you are holding a firm ground in terms of what I think regarding this issue, never have I said that the transnational oil companies cared or did something in favour of democracy, chinese pragmatism and disregard for promoting Human Rights its no lie, as true as the disregard of trasnational oil companies for the social or enveriomental welfare of the locals, dont be such a jugdmental asshole

  • @XxLIVRAxX because you think exxon mobil in nigeria always cared?France willing to sell weapons tokadhaffi cared?? Total in Angola they care about democracy?stop the propaganda we know better;look there are stiil too much investments needed; stop beeing jaleous about china and let just invest and be more imaginative

  • FOOLS!! The increasing billions china is loaning to Africa is not interest free, what do you think will happen when Africa cannot afford to pay back these loans?! They will take whatever assets the country consists of in order to recuperate there money, even then the loan plus interest will STILL not be covered, so in essence China will OWN the African country's in debt, they are doing what the whites did but the consequences will be much more devastating for us and you guys are praising them?!

  • DON'T LISTEN TO WHAT WHITES SAY! THEY EXPLOITED AFRICA AND COLONIZED AFRICA AND LEFT IT TO ROT!! WHITES ARE ONLY OUT FOR THEMSELVES! AFRICA HAS A FRIEND IN CHINA!!!

  • China is up to something

  • @fcbtim no they are not

  • the racial bickering on these comments actually serves no purpose or value-added arguments to this issue. so stop that shit and learn to be PRODUCTIVE together. it's quite obvious that chinese investment in Africa will undoubtedly bring up certain region's standard and quality of life - otherwise economies in Africa would never have partnered with foreign chinese firms. i'd say this is the biggest upside to FDI. again like i said before, we MUST take a holistic perspective on this or else

  • the debt being created now through such infrastructural investments? how would Africa itself handle some of the comparative and absolute advantages? the cultural, administrative, geographical, and economical arbitrage opportunities being taken advantage of right now from Africa by China? the scarcity of natural resources? - these all must be analyzed over the long-run. let's take a look at this objectively & keep the semantics out of it - in today's world it is imperative economies work TOGETHER
