This is the first song from Secret Garden's album White Stones from 1997. The album name is derived from the white stones Hansel and Gretel scattered so that they could find their way home. The Norwegian composer of the music constantly collaborates with the irish fiddler Fionnuala Sherry for Secret Garden, and they say that each song on this album can be compared to a white stone.
"A fantasy of music and rhythm in 5/4 time. The Celtic melody inviting the Latin rhythm for a dance. The Irish whistle and the Spanish guitar blend the two elements into a sound of mystery and excitement." -Rolf Lovland
I thought I was the only one to know them! I love this album!!
