This is a silent video advertisement of the famous Owens' Boat Line. They guided multi-day float fishing trips on the White River, before Bull Shoals, Taneycomo, and Table Rock Reservoirs from 20' wooden jonboats. When the reservoirs filled it drowned, the White River, the wooden john boat, and Owen's Boat line with it. Longboat Outfitters is now bringing this same multiple day river experience back to the Ozarks where it originated! Float fishing from handmade wooden boats, stream eco-tours, and wilderness river camping and cooking are staples to every Longboat trip. Check out the video of how it "used to be" then check out www.longboatoutfitters.com to see what the "new" looks like.
