Very fast knex coaster

new type of launch system for knex roller coasters this is a old vid now the coaster atm it much bigger and with some more systems on it

Main workings

•First the air compressor compresses air into the red air tank

•Theres a timer linked up to it which turns the compressor off when it gets to 60psi


•When that happen it starts another timer and hit the play button which play the launch audio

•At end of the launch audio were it says go go go the timer that started at the same time as the audio starter fires a solenoid valve


•All the air in the red tank rushed out throw the vale into the pneumatic cinder wish gets shot out very fast

•Connected to this cinder is bit of string which goes around to wheels which leads it to the top of the track were its connected to a chat car which is linked to bottom of the carriage pulling it forward completing the launch

•The main working of the timers are capacitor timers linked up to relays or transistors

@BladeButcher You can’t relay buy is as such but you can get all the parts together to make it work.
