  • you guys need to support your local beef industry and I get to show at beef 2012 :D

  • @pi550 i luv Australia ...i hate julia and the GST and the soon Carbon tax ..and the high cost of living ....thats not to much to winge about is it.....

A TRUE Aussie, lost Family fighting for it to.

  • @VK4LA I don't consider the prices very high. I like Australian beef and I support Australia farmers.

If you want NZ lamb .... move there!!

If you want USA's beef.... move there!! Who cares.

  • @pi550 we need to import more beef and lamb into australia ...the crap they produce is so over priced its crazy....and the meat industry says it can justify the high prices ...well I SAY kiwi lamb and beef or usa meat can be sold cheaper than the local stuff ....whats wrong with that picture..

    BUY MEAT FROM OVERSEAS SUPPLIERS

  • @VK4LA What rubbish. Thanks to Juliar and the great Labor Party it will only increase in price. If you can afford to buy a house for $500,000+ than you should be able to afford to buy a steak for $5-$7.

We would hardly import food from other countries when our own farmers have to abide to such a high standard and pay such high wages compared to the rest of the world.

  • aussie beef is over expensive ..

we need to import more beef and lamb etc into australia.

meat is that expensive in supermarkets here that they down size the portions to make it look like a bargain.....> paper thin t-bone steaks aint nice..

little bits of round steak butterflyed to look like big peices on a tray..

    AUSSIE MEAT IS TO EXPENSIVE........

consumers are being ripped off by the meat industry
