From what i've read you need to cook the mash then add the yeast mixed in warm water and let it sit until it just about stops bubblin. Taist it and it should have a bitter cydery taist and then it's ready. I don't understand why you would let the co2 build up. From what i've seen the pro's don't but the youngins do and knowone runs the thump keg and worm set up anymore. I'm doin my reaserch before i try this. Also you need to build up the backins. Still tryin to figure that out too. ???
everyone you can make distilled water from tap water just boil tap water in your moonshine still and the product will be distilled water hope this helps :D
@kb382 - One pack of yeast does the 5 to 6 gallon bucket. There's a simple home wine recipe here, just google "Tomahhtoe yeast jug rubber". You guys should watch member "craigtube" videos, easy home beer and wine.
you can buy an airlock for less than $2 at a homebrew store or E-bay and its foolproof. The hose probably costs more than that.

Did you cook the corn meal before you put it in the bottle? What temperature does the room need to be? Can you use just sugar and no corn meal?
