Cowbert has the most pathetic and plaintive whine when he wants loving and isn't getting it. The kittens are still blocked into the one room, but they can see the next room and can climb the cat tree. I was in the next room, and Cowbert could see me and gave his uber-adorable sideways look, and whiiiiiiiiiiiiiiine!

Of course, this necessitated getting the camera.
