Yeah I know. It is better now as we have replaced the twin 350 holly's with a single 750.

Na mate. it was running that rich there was plumes of smoke from the fuel. The reason that the manifold is so hot is due to its crude design (its made out of RHS).

This thing is a beast. Currently have two XF's (1 Carb, 1 EFI) and have a truck turbo and one of a Rodeo, looking to turbo one of the cars to make a killer paddock basher. Have any tips. Looks like you guys are running a suck-through. Is that right? Any help would be appreciated.

the draw through carbie is easy to set up. It is much better with the single 750 holley. If you want to build one as a padock basher I would go with the truck turbo as the one of the Rodeo will spool way to early and have no top end. I have heard that these engines are good for about 250kw at the flywheel before you will need to change pistons or anything. This one has been rebuilt but it is pretty standard (has a lumpy cam and up rated valve springs - these springs are a must)

in this video it is running 2 350 holley's on a draw through (they are on a box directly above the rocker cover with a mandrel u-bent linking it to the turbo). It now runs a single 750 holley on a draw through to shorten all of the pipe work.
