Cayo Levantado Vacations 2007

Our vacations at Bahía Principe Cayo Levantado in July 2007. Sorry about the lame edits but sometimes I just didn't have enough source material to bridge some of the cuts seamlessly.

i went there on 2006 my father worked there, he designed the vip villages, i believe the one u stayed ina was one of them, the beach near the pool area which has a small island in front is the best beach i'ever since , early in the morning the water level drops so i reached the little island just walking thanx for the vid my dad is goint to love this

Just got back from here last week, great place, but would only go back for 1 week, as 2 weeks was to much, as there is not much to do around the island except for some water sports.

The only downside to this place was no nightlife what so ever, started to get a little boring after awhile. But all in all, great relaxing holiday folks, try it sometime.

jan 2010: Just back from a week there. Great, overall, but they really need to build a breakwater for the beach, which is always rough for swimming/snorkelling, being on the exposed seaward side of the island (unlike the public beach). Also, the lobby bar staff are sneaky and won't mix your drink in front of you, but hide the operation in a back room. Most un-5 star, that. Don't order a martini, whatever you do.

Has anyone been to Gran Bahia Principe Cayo Levantado in may?

I'm considering booking for then depending on weather.

Just wondering if anyone has been at that time of year and what the weather was like?
