(Part 5 of 12) - The Yellowstone Super Volcano is the volcano that could wipe out the USA as we know it. This is a documentary about the Super Volcano at Yellowstone National Park. The sleeping giant measures 34 miles (55 km) by 45 miles (72 km) across. Recent swelling of the ground at YellowStone has risen to 10 inches as of January 2010 and has sparked much interest in this Supervolcano. The volcano is expected to erupt every 600,000 years, and we are currently overdue for eruption at 640,000 years. It is said that this volcano could bring mankind to it's knees in a matter of 5 days. This movie/documentary gives great insight into what could happen.
