  • disappointed--was hoping the new generation of Slovaks and Hungarians were less ignorant then this..battling it out on youtube. Both countries are beautiful in their way, and there are many things wrong with both as well. By my name you can tell I'm a bit prejudiced, but as an outsider I'd like to say--Welcome to the 21st Century kids. Try to understand that intolerance is an arcane way of life, reserved for the uneducated :)

  • Slovakia is such a beautiful country. I am proud to say i was able to live there for a year. :) slovensko najlepšie!

  • @MrJoined "presend hungarians have nothing to do with them" Well if you say so, Prof. Nonetheless, whatever has left from that heritage, it's surely more than what you have in common with Svatopluk (around 0).

  • @biziclop2 1100 years ago arrived to carpat basin mongoloid uralic nomades and presend hungarians have nothing to do with them, just little piece of their language

  • @Donateli09 "My nation, the Slavs" Oh yeah, why not even "My nation, the whites", or "My nation, the hmo sapiens". There is no Slav nation. Balkan wars gave us the answer what being Slav means alone - nothing.

And don't be so sure about Slavic peoples significant presence here a thousand years ago. There have been very surprising results recently about the rates of cremation / burials during archeological excavations. Things get really interesting turns...

  • @slovakguy This is when something happens in the past which should not have Hungarians and Slovaks are more or less the same people and should still live in the same country. It was a Habsburg project to divide et impera. As long as Slovakia is a different country, lies will still have to be accepted on the highest levels and that obviously will always bring tension between us. Just imagine North-Slovakia becaming a new country, how would you handle that,

  • @Donateli09 Feel free to call yourself whatever you want, this won't change the fact that while we definitely arrived here 1100 years ago and kept our language and culture till this day, Slovak nation does not exist, it was just made up a couple of centuries ago. You can still be a good person, don't get me wrong.

  • Ja som slovak a som na to hrdy (i am Slovakiy man and i anm happy)

  • @michalthelion Thank you. I think I'll be fine. Seems like a wonderful place so far.

  • @bored1980 if that's really true that you're moving there, if that's really true that you come from New Zealand, then best of luck with your iron nerves because Slovakia is morally bankrupt country.

  • @ANTAGONISTAD Hey that's fantastic! There's not many Slovaks in NZ! :)
