@SciGuy16 does it go back on easy? Because i dont want to destroy my pump.
-
It will be more effective if you had made the pneumatics by the motor be compressed fully each time as air can be compressed... Nice though

I made something very simlilar and also built an automatic valve so you dont need the touch sensor, but it continually pumps. I also bent the spring of lol

it would be funny if it said i'm full when it is full!!!

I think I'd rather gear it up and rather than by hand, by stepping on it or something like that. you can hear the motors straining in this video. it needs to be geared differently

did you cut the spring off?

No, if you bend the end of the spring out a bit, you can easily unscrew it.

Dominoe11112 - the spring can be put back on as easily as it's removed. As long as one end has been bent out slightly, removal and replacement are simple.

this is pretty cool I like how it's all automatic, but I'd rather just pump it myself than use up the batteries. They do go pretty quick if you use them often

I see your point, but this sort of thing would work really well if the motor was geared up and connected to something with a large air tank that would take hours to pump by hand.

Were do you get the parts from?thanks

The Lego Mindstorms parts, i.e. motor, sensors, controller, are available from the Lego website. The pneumatics came from the Lego Technic Mobile Crane (unfortunately now discontinued). The only set currently available with pneumatics is the Technic tow truck, until they discontinue it. Bricklink, I've heard, is a good source for all Lego parts. Also check out other comments on this video.
