Among the eighteen rare and antique pianos on view is a rhinestone-encrusted Baldwin grand and his fave concert grand covered completely in glittering mirror squares.
Present also in the collection are a hand-painted Pleyel and Chickering grand that was once owned by George Gershwin. Naturally, a Liberace museum will not be a Liberace museum without his mythical wardrobes. Maybe the hottest area in the museum, Liberace's lavish costumes include an incredible rhinestone-lined, full-length Black diamond Mink cape and a 200-pound "King Neptune" costume. Also on view are the dazzling white and yellow gold piano formed ring with 260 individually set diamonds. The museum also homes lots of Liberace's one-off autos, including his "Stars & Stripes" which is a hand-painted red, white, and blue Rolls- Royce convertible and another Rolls-Royce that's clad completely in mirrored tiles and etched with a bespoke design of trotting horses.
