Just a helpful debugging note: After you create your model and entity you may get the error: "Annotation "datasource" must be set on the model or entity". If you get this you may have missed the Deployment Handler step at 0:35 in the video

Great Video. I'd love to see an extension that shows how to pass security information to the CRX repository. For example if the content repository node is secured using an ACL so only certain users can create new data instances.
